This fall, Advanced Dermatology and Plastic Surgery will become part of Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. We understand that a change like this may bring questions, so we want to reassure you that the people, relationships and personalized care you trust will remain at the heart of our practice.
By joining Elite Dermatology, we will also be able to offer patients access to expanded technology, clinical resources and a broader network of dermatology specialists.
Most importantly, there will be no interruption in your care.
What This Transition Means for Patients
Although the practice name will change, patients can expect their day-to-day experience to remain familiar:
- Dr. Adam Nguyen will continue caring for patients at the current Tomball location.
- The office location will remain the same.
- The care team will continue assisting patients throughout the transition.
- Scheduling, insurance, billing and care coordination will continue with as little disruption as possible.
- Patients will gain access to the resources and physician network of Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery.
No action is required from patients at this time.
Dr. Adam Nguyen Will Continue Seeing Patients in Tomball
Dr. Adam Nguyen will remain at the Tomball office as part of Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. Patients may continue relying on him for attentive, personalized dermatologic care at the same location.
Maintaining continuity between patients and their physician is a central priority throughout this transition. The Advanced Derm-Plastic and Elite Dermatology teams will work together to make the change as seamless as possible.

Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery is a 100% physician-owned and physician-led practice serving the greater Houston area. It is not owned by a private equity or venture capital organization.

Insurance and Patient Costs
Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery participates with nearly all of the same insurance plans as Advanced Derm-Plastic. For the majority of patients and covered services, the reimbursement structure and patient responsibility are expected to remain the same.
Because coverage varies by plan, patients are encouraged to contact the Tomball office for help verifying their specific insurance benefits.
Changes to the Team
As part of this transition, Dr. Anson Nguyen and Alana Isaacs will be moving to other practices. We are grateful for the care they have provided and will help patients navigate any questions related to their ongoing care.
Dr. Adam Nguyen will remain at the current Tomball location with Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery.
Honoring Dr. Anh Nguyen
After more than three decades of caring for patients and families, Dr. Anh Nguyen will retire to focus on treatment for multiple myeloma.
Dr. Nguyen considers the opportunity to care for this community one of the great privileges of his life. He is deeply grateful for the trust, friendship, kindness and support patients have shared with him throughout his career.
His longstanding commitment to personal, compassionate medical care will remain an important part of the practice’s legacy as Advanced Derm-Plastic begins its next chapter with Elite Dermatology & Plastic Surgery.

No. The current Tomball location will remain open, and Dr. Adam Nguyen will continue seeing patients there.
